Kids Who Hate Writing Love This.
It feels like a game, not homework. Great for Grades 2 to 8+.
What Is A Story Challenge?
Move. Write. Build The Story.
A Story Challenge turns creative writing into something you can move through.
Why It Matters
Strong Body. Strong Story.
The kid who can tell a story can share an idea, stand up for a friend and one day land the job. The kid who moves has the energy to do it.
Ontario Grade 3 kids don't meet the writing standard.

Story Challenge FAQs
Does it count as DPA?
Yes. The 30-minute challenge covers your 20 minutes of daily physical activity.
What if a kid can't do a move?
Change it. Any move can be adapted to fit a child's needs.
Can the whole class write one story?
Yes. Take turns. One kid picks the word, everyone moves, the class writes the next line together.
How do I grade it?
Grade the story, not the exercises. Check for a clear beginning, middle and end.
Can I use it with more than one class?
Yes. Buy it once. Use it with every class you teach.
My kid isn't sporty. Will they like it?
Yes. It's not hard, and everyone goes at their own pace. The only person you're racing is you.
Will it get loud?
A little. Set one rule: move in your own space, then sit to write.
How long is the month-long one each day?
A few minutes. One word, the moves, one sentence.
Does it fit the Ontario curriculum?
It works on writing skills from the Ontario Language curriculum: planning, drafting and using words in context.
